In 2012, MEG Corp was asked to determine if the use of B100 could benefit the motorsport of truck and tractor pulling.  There was interest by contestants to utilize higher biodiesel blends.  There had been rumors that the use of B100 would boost performance, but many were afraid to use it since winners had to have their fuel tested by an instrument that measures the dielectric constant of hydrocarbon fuel.  The purpose of the test was to detect fuel additives considered illegal to the sport. Biodiesel blends of B10 and higher had been known to fail the test and disqualify the contestant, so no one wanted to take the chance.

MEG Corp conducted dyno testing with B100 and found that it did provide greater horsepower and torque in this application.  B100 consistently displayed an increase of 3% and 4%, which was quite substantial. Our next job was to help to pull officials to develop different tests to regulate the sport that would allow the use of B100.  Upon acceptance of the use of biodiesel in the sport, MEG Corp began distributing straight B100 in small packages for pullers.  With feedback from our customers, we have developed products that have become proven winners.
